Dreadful Day Ever

It all started with a terrible case of uncontrollable hair. I couldn't do it to look right. As I was dashing out the door, I trippedon and with a thud all over myself. To make matters worse, I was extremely running behind for school.

I in a state of utter panic. My {boss|teacher|was absolutely furious. I attempted to explain, but it was no use.

The rest of the day was an absolute nightmare. was a catastrophe. I get anything done.

By the time I got home, I was physically and emotionally wiped out. This day, this terrible day will be forever remembered as a day to forget.

It all started out terribly with a simple mishap/incident/screw-up. But then everything went from bad to absolutely terrible. A series/chain/cascade of unfortunate/awful/disastrous events unfolded/occurred/piled on top each other, leaving me feeling like I was in a nightmare/horror movie/comedy of errors. It's the kind of situation where you just want to scream into a pillow.
